[ARCHIVED] ATTENTION INTERSECTION WORK AT 76TH AND MAIN

Beginning May 19, 2017, construction will begin on 76th and Main. This project is expected to last until October 2017 weather permitting. Work will be done in phases and traffic control will be adjusted as construction moves forward, however at this time (SEE MAP), traffic control will be placed as shown in the link.

Traffic will be reduced to two lanes heading east and west. Additionally, drivers headed east or west will NOT be allowed to make left turns onto Main. Drivers headed west bound should exit on Birch to access businesses south of 76th  including City Hall, or use the service road (by McDonald’s) and exit on 5th Avenue. East bound drivers should exit at Atlanta to go north or to access businesses just north of 76th.

Drivers going north and south on Main will continue as normal at this time.

Speed limits will  be reduced in the construction zone, use caution, obey all traffic control, expect delays. Drivers are encouraged to take alternate routes such as 86th unless you are visiting local businesses.

Public Works staff as will as the contractors  asks for patience throughout this project.
