Quality of Life Information

In 2010, the City of Owasso conducted a survey and multiple community meetings to discuss Quality of Life needs for Owasso. The outcome of this effort is the 2011 Quality of Life Report. This report has been utilized by staff in making planning and project decisions. Many of the community desires expressed in the report have been included in subsequent projects. The City has benefited from a portion of the revenue generated from the Tulsa County Vision 2025 sales tax approved by a vote of the citizens of Tulsa County. In addition the the initial projects approved to utilize these funds, excess Vision 2025 funds were later allocated to allow more projects to be approved by the Vision Authority. In 2018, City staff prepared an online survey of residents to update the original Quality of Life survey conducted in 2010. More than 1300 participants completed the survey.
