Parks Department

Mission Statement

The mission of the Parks and Recreation Department is to plan, secure, develop, and maintain recreational areas within the City of Owasso. This ensures that the citizens of Owasso will continue to have recreational amenities to complement a quality of life that is unmatched in our area.

The City of Owasso will re-open City playgrounds, Rayola splash pad, and City Park shelters on Friday, May 15th.

We recommend for your safety and mutual enjoyment of the parks, that you continue to practice social distancing with all who are outside your immediate family. Out of respect for others, please exercise all applicable precautions against virus spread.

The Owasso City Council approved Resolution 2020-12, on April 1, 2020, limiting access to park facilities in response to the COVID-19 Pandemic. See the full resolution at…/Resolution2020-12_Shelter-At-Pla…

The City has created a page to share local, state and national information regarding COVID-19 at https://owasso-coronavirus-response-1-cityofowasso.hub.arcg…
