Civilian Volunteers


The Owasso Police Department has established a civilian volunteer program to allow citizens to assist the police department in such areas as the Records Division, Property Division, Dispatch and Animal Control. It is afficiliated with the national "Volunteers In Police Service Program"--VIPS.

The depatment also participates in the national Presidential Service Award program which honors those citizens who give of themselves for their community.
