Owasso is committed to the preservation and renewal of neighborhoods. A key component of the Owasso Strong Neighborhood Initiative is the Neighborhood Grant Program.

The Neighborhood Grant Program, administered by the Owasso Community Foundation, Inc. (OCF) provides supplemental funding to recognized neighborhood organizations within the Owasso city limit or to residents in the process of forming a neighborhood network.

Where do the Funds Go?

Grants can fund a range of beautification projects by supplementing the neighborhood investments including cash resources from the neighborhood group, or volunteer labor, or donations in the form of materials and/or services. Projects should give neighborhood-based organizations an incentive to raise funds, build partnerships with businesses, and cultivate the spirit of volunteerism and community support needed to complete a project.

  • Grants are not allowed for deferred maintenance
  • Grants must provide a neighborhood wide benefit and be utilized for projects on common property
  • Grants will only be awarded to neighborhood-based organizations within city limits
