Licenses & Permits

The City of Owasso issues licenses and permits to individuals or businesses engaging in the following activities or businesses.

Businesses and individuals seeking information on development related permitting should visit the Community Development website for information on required processes.

Solicitors

The licensing of Door-to-Door and other Mobile Solicitors is governed by Part 9, Licensing and Business Regulations, Chapter 1 (PDF), Solicitors of the Owasso City Code. All for-profit businesses and individuals wishing to solicit within the city limits of Owasso must submit an Application for Solicitor License (PDF), along with the required fee, prior to engaging in solicitation within the city limits. Non-profit organizations engaged in soliciting must notify the City of the details and dates of their solicitation by contacting the City Clerk and outlining the dates and details of the solicitation.

Mobile Food Vendors

The permitting of Mobile Food Vendors is governed by Part 9, Licensing and Business Regulations, Chapter 3 (PDF), mobile food vendors of the Owasso City Code of Ordinances. All businesses and individuals wishing to engage in mobile food vending within the city limits of Owasso must submit an Application for Mobile Food Vending (PDF), along with the required fee, prior to engaging in mobile food vending within the city limits. A designated Stationary Mobile Food Vendor must also apply for a Temporary Use Permit (PDF)
