Services to the Community
The Owasso Community Center has rooms available to rent daily for community or private events at a nominal fee. Call the Community Center at (918) 272-3903 during Business Hours for information, availability and to reserve a room.
Q. How many rooms are available at the Community Center to be rented?
A. We have 2 rooms that can be rented. The Dining Room and Quilting Room.
Q. What are the sizes and capacity for the rooms?
A. The Dining Room will seat up to 125 for dining and 225 for a meeting room format. Rental may also include the use of our large commercial-style kitchen.
The Quilting Room will hold 50 with tables and chairs and 58 for a meeting room format. The room is suitable for bridal and baby showers, small group meetings, etc.
Q. What are the fees?
A. A $50 refundable deposit is required 30 days prior to the event on either room. The rental fees are:
- $30 per hour for the Dining room (including set up and take down time)
- $15 per hour for the Quilting room (including set up and take down time)
Q. How far in advance do I need to book a room?
A. Our rooms are reserved as far as 6 months in advance.
Q. Can reservations and payment be made over the phone?
A. Yes and No. Yes, we can make your reservation on the phone but rental fees must be paid by check or cash in person at the Community Center. Credit cards for payment are accepted in person at City Hall, however paperwork must be completed at the Community Center first.
Q. How do I get my Deposit refunded?
A. You are responsible for leaving the building clean with all equipment returned in working order and trash emptied. Guidelines are provided when you pay your rental fee. The deposit is refunded to you within 30 days if requirements are met.
